Ryan Hanahan, a 2011 graduate of Pine Richland and former Steel City Select infielder, had success this summer playing for the Butler BlueSox. Ryan only played 19 games at the end of the summer with the BlueSox after the completion of his season with the Allegheny Valley Baseball Club. Hanahan batted .304 with 21 hits and 9 RBI in 19 games.
Ryan is a senior middle infielder at Marietta College, a division III powerhouse. He has a career batting average of .295 with 5 HR and 33 RBI for the pinstripes. He is expecting to have a big campaign in his final year for the Etta Express.
