1. Repeatable Mechanics – Not only do you need proper mechanics, but you need to be able to repeat your motion every single pitch.
2. Visualization – Before you throw a pitch or before a flat ground/bullpen session, visualize yourself having success and hitting every spot.
3. Conviction – Trust your pitches. Don’t think about pitching and trying not to fail, pitch to have success. Believe in yourself and your pitches.
4. Body Control – You need to be able to control your body throughout your delivery. In order to do this, you need to have a certain level of strength and coordination. Put in work outside of practice and focus on getting stronger.
