I am not saying that it does not happen. However for the most part, success comes from doing what others are not willing to. And I do not mean trying here and there. Trying is just lying to yourself. I mean creating successful habits on a daily basis. You must be habitually successful and create consistency in your life to see any change.
I heard a story regarding a father and his son. The father was always winning contests on the radio and online. He wont concert tickets, gift cards, money giveaways. You name it, and he probably won it. The son could not believe how lucky his father was. He could not understand how he could not win anything. Why did his father not pass any of his luck on to him?
But then the son realized that his father called in to the radio station constantly and put his name into online giveaways more than most people were willing to. Doing this will not guarantee a win, but you have to give yourself the chance in order to win. Definitely more than the average person.
If you want to be in the right place at the right time, then put yourself out there as much as possible. If you are a salesman, then making phone calls is your right place. If you are a dancer or singer, then an audition is your lucky place. If you are a baseball player looking to get to the next level, then put yourself in the right practices, surrounded by the right players, and around the best coaches. It’s up to you!
